2. What other users can see
This is the most important section of this policy. Please read it before uploading a photo.
- Visible to every signed-in TRIVELA user: your name, profile photo, playing position, preferred foot, jersey number, height, experience, bio, and your team, match and tournament history.
- Visible only to you: your email address, phone number and age. These are stored separately from your public profile, in a location that our security rules restrict to your own account.
3. Service providers
We use the following providers to operate the app. They process data on our behalf; we do not sell or share your data with third parties for their own purposes.
- Google Firebase — Authentication (sign-in), Cloud Firestore (all app data), App Check (abuse prevention) and Crashlytics (crash reports). Firebase stores data on Google infrastructure in the United States and other global regions.
- Cloudinary — hosting for profile photos and team crests.
4. Crash reporting
Release builds of TRIVELA send crash reports to Firebase Crashlytics. A report contains the error, the stack trace, and basic device and app-version information.
We deliberately do not attach your account id, name or email to crash reports. Crash reporting is disabled entirely in development builds.
5. Storage, security and retention
- All traffic between the app and our providers uses HTTPS/TLS. The app does not permit unencrypted network traffic.
- Access to your data is enforced by Firebase Security Rules, which are verified by an automated test suite before release.
- App Check attestation is used to reduce abuse from unauthorised clients.
- We do not operate an automated retention schedule. Your data is kept until you delete your account, with the exceptions in section 6.
6. Deleting your account
You can delete your account from inside the app: Settings → Legal & Compliance → Delete Account. You can also request deletion without installing the app — see trivela-ftb.web.app/delete-account.
Deleting your account removes your profile, your private contact details, your career entries, your notifications, your team membership and your sign-in credentials. If you are the captain of a team, captaincy passes to the most senior remaining member, or the team is archived if you were its only member.
Two things are honestly not removed, and you should know this before you delete:
- Uploaded images are not deleted automatically. Profile photos and team crests remain hosted at Cloudinary. To have an image removed, contact us at the address in section 8 and we will delete it manually.
- Match, fixture and tournament records are retained. These form part of other players' and teams' historical results and cannot be removed without corrupting their records.
7. Children
TRIVELA is not directed at children. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and announce the change inside the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
